What is wrong with you people? Why do crappy sprite comics like this: http://www.smackjeeves.com/comicprofile.php?id=28039 always end up getting more attention than something like mine? Sure you can say "You just need to give it some time, readers will come eventually", but then again, I've seen sprite comics that have gotten 10 fans in one week. It's ridiculous, especially considering that they’re basically just images of characters and backgrounds stolen from a game and lazily put together on paint. Also, have you ever noticed how most sprite comics are abandoned by their authors after a month because the author gets bored of making them? I take my time to draw my comics and colour them because I care. Now it’s no lie that I used to make sprite comics on Smack Jeeves, under a different username, but after realising my big mistake I deleted that account and everything in it. Sprite comics are great for author comics, because all the authors can produce comics under an almost identical style (and they are incredibly easy to make), but I’d rather leave it there. I’m not trying to offend any “spriters” here, but I’ve had just about enough.
Wow, you acctualy bothered reading all that? Thanks, that means a lot to me.

On a lighter note, I’m on school holidays now, so I’ll have plenty of time to make more comics. You guys will like the next one.

I don't think you should worry about your fan number compared to others. Here in Smack Jeeves, they judge the comic by the banner. If they don't like it, they don't click it. If they think it'll be good, they'll look at the preview of the last comic for one more judgement.

All that, and if your comic has the word 'Sonic' or 'yaoi' in it, it'll automatically get fans even if your comics are blank.

That's pretty much how it goes. You have to ignore the other comics and focus on yours.

I have been thinking about improving the banner, I should probably just put a bunch of Sonics on it.

I pretty much read it because it was a recently updated comic at the time. That's normally where I find my new comics. I'll read almost any sprite comic as long as it's not Sonic.
